Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. Aside from Thanksgiving and Christmas, two holidays I always look forward to because of the fellowship I get to spend with friends and family back home, Halloween is next in line. I've always had a fascination with the macabre, the creepy, the bump-in-the-night type atmosphere, so naturally Halloween is very appealing to me. I love the endless horror movie marathons, I love "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
However, I'm not a huge fan of giving out candy on Halloween night to all the Trick'r'Treaters that come stomping through my neighborhood like troops moving to occupy a country. So, while I'm sure I'll still be dishing out bite-sized chocolate bars to children on the 31st, I thought I'd give my readers (or any potential readers) a few treats as well. You know, in the spirit of all things spooky and unsettling.
So here's what I'm offering--what's going down, if you will.
From today (October 27th) through Halloween (The 31st for those of you new to the planet), all of my books, short stories, and collections will be FREE ON AMAZON! My entire catalog of work can be yours for the low low price of zero dollars. Not bad right?
But wait, there's more! On Halloween, to culminate the giveaway, my newest short story (THE PHONE) will go on-sale. I'm charging for this one... but... oh heck, why not. If you come back to my website, maybe... just maybe, I'll put up links for you to download the story for free from here. You know, since you were nice enough to stop by and all.
So that's it. Hopefully some of you will get the chance to read some more of my work you might not have gotten around to downloading yet. And hopefully some brand new readers will come into the mix as well.
Happy Halloween, and as always, Thanks for reading!
